Don’t look no further. Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve, located north of Veterans Parkway right off the Caloosahatchee River, provides an opportunity for solitude with amazing sounds of birds and waves hitting the shore. With wonderful hiking trails and a pier overlooking the river, you will find great opportunities for photos and reflecting.

During one of my daughter’s tantrums, I was fortunately driving by the preserve and took the spontaneous trip to check it out. As you can see, my daughter’s tantrum quickly ended and we enjoyed a wonderful walk together thru the trees.
